Overall purpose:

This role…

We are looking to welcome new personal support assistants to work with a lady and gentleman in their own home.

Both individuals require full support with all their daily needs and enjoy the company of people who are kind, caring, but know when to have fun!

The lady enjoys a busy routine including swimming, pottery classes and choir, but there’s nothing like kicking back in the evening to watch the soaps and have a good natter over a cup of tea.

The gentleman is registered blind. He is very in tune with his environment and could be described as the strong, silent type who will wrap you with affection. His main passion in life is music and being around others in his local community.

The contracts available are a fair mix of days and evenings, with an expectation to work alternate weekends

You will deliver practical, physical, social, and emotional support to individuals.

You would need to be outgoing, kind, caring, and have a reliable nature and a great sense of humour. It is essential you hold a UK Manual driving license for this position.

We offer a full training programme and the opportunity to work towards a Level 2 qualification to ensure you are confident in your position as a Support Worker, whether you are new to care or experienced.

All members of our team support with outdoor activities, cooking, social events, and intimate personal care.

There is no feeling like knowing you are making a real difference in someone’s life, do you want this too?

We offer a wide range of employee rewards and benefits. These include access to thousands of retailer, restaurant, entertainment and hotel discounts through Blue Light Card, auto-enrolment pensions, six weeks paid accrued holiday, and a cycle to work scheme.
